A parameter can remain visible in the address bar after a decline because declining storage does not rewrite the link you clicked. The referring URL recorded with an inquiry may also contain a click identifier. Server-side records and optional advertising storage therefore have different purposes and retention rules.

Denied is a consent instruction, not a statement that the internet connection is silent. Consent signals and limited technical communications can still occur. This notice does not claim that declining means no tag loads or that every platform request stops. The important boundary is that optional storage and the consent-dependent uses do not gain permission from an unanswered banner.
Consent Mode v2 is the named Google consent mechanism. The site's storage decision also governs optional advertising activity involving Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads; it is not a claim that each provider uses Google's signal format internally. Their own policies explain their processing.

Clearing site data, switching browsers or using a different device can remove or separate that record. A browser's own privacy settings can also block storage independently of a choice made on the site.
Global Privacy Control, sent as the Sec-GPC header, is honoured as an opt-out without asking again. It is not necessary to identify yourself or submit an inquiry to make that browser signal effective. An opt-out from sale or sharing under applicable state law can also be requested directly through the operator.
Withdrawal changes future consent-dependent activity. It does not itself delete a message already sent or recall a disclosure lawfully made before withdrawal. Declining storage leaves the bookkeeping inquiry route open.
You can read the service pages, compare the supplied price bases and submit an inquiry after declining optional storage. The workload estimate does not become less available because you decline. A support conversation you choose to start still needs its functional token to reconnect the same browser.
Declining stops permission for optional analytics and advertising storage and restores the four consent signals to denied. It also withdraws permission for the advertising user-data and personalization uses controlled by those signals. Necessary preference handling and operational security records are not switched off by an advertising-storage refusal.
Browser tools give you another layer of control. You can remove existing cookies and local storage in your browser's site-data settings. Removing the support token may stop this browser from returning to an earlier conversation. It does not erase the transcript from the operator's records; transcripts have their own 12-month retention period.
