Small-business bookkeeping that connects receipts to the monthly close.

Qulck Boaks provides small business bookkeeping and QuickBooks bookkeeping from Tampa, Florida, for independent operators and small service firms. We organise income and expenses around the source documents that explain them. You get a record to work from, not another collection of disconnected files.

Monthly bookkeeping: 150–500 USD / month. Scoped hourly work: 40–100 USD / hour. These are inquiry bases, not binding quotes. Start dates and lead time are by agreement.

The monthly close is where missing work shows.

A bank feed can look busy while the books remain unfinished. A receipt is missing. A transfer looks like income. The same card purchase has arrived through two routes. Those questions need answers before a statement is useful.

We work back to the record behind the entry. A tidy dashboard is not the test. The test is whether you can follow a reported amount to the transaction and understand what still needs your attention.

Following a transaction from its receipt to the finished month.

These are the working checks behind bookkeeping services for small business. Move along the shelf to see what each check resolves. The modules describe the work, not separate packages or a claim about a particular customer's results.

Matching a captured receipt to its purchase

The receipt holds the explanation that a bank description leaves out. Receipt capture brings that document into the record; review checks that it belongs to the right purchase rather than simply adding another file.

Source needed
A legible receipt and the matching transaction.
Unresolved work
A missing or unclear document stays a question for the owner.

Checking bank activity against account records

Bank verification establishes which account a record belongs to and whether the activity is complete for the period under review. An imported line alone does not show that every statement entry has been accounted for.

Source needed
Bank and card records for the agreed period.
Check made
Account coverage and entries that need clarification.

Giving a transaction a category that holds

Bank transaction categorization should reflect the business purpose, not just a familiar merchant name. Transfers between your accounts need different treatment from money earned from a customer.

Source needed
The document and your explanation of business use.
Check made
Consistent categories with ambiguous entries raised for review.

Reading financial statements against the ledger

A financial statement summarises the entries underneath it. Reviewing the statement means asking whether those entries explain the result and whether an unresolved item changes how the owner should read it.

Working output
Financial statements for the agreed reporting scope.
Boundary
A bookkeeping report is not a promise about tax outcomes.

Closing the month with open questions visible

Monthly close bookkeeping brings the checks together. An unanswered request for a receipt must not disappear behind a completed status. We agree what can be closed and what still needs evidence.

Timing
By agreement, with document availability considered.
Owner's part
Answer the outstanding questions about the underlying activity.

Bringing a hand-kept month into a usable bookkeeping record.

Paper receipts and a running spreadsheet can carry a business for a while. The difficulty appears when the spreadsheet total differs from the bank account and nobody can tell whether the gap is timing, an omitted expense or a payment recorded twice. That is a records problem before it is a software problem.

Our monthly bookkeeping service starts with the period and accounts you want covered. We establish what records exist, ask about activity that needs an explanation and organise the source documents alongside the entries. The monthly close then works from that record rather than from an estimate of what probably happened.

For ongoing small-business bookkeeping, the supplied basis is 150–500 USD / month. For a defined piece of bookkeeping by the hour, the basis is 40–100 USD / hour. An hourly rate does not tell you the total engagement cost. The work and the basis for approving it need to be agreed first.

The monthly and hourly bookkeeping service explains how those approaches differ. Neither route gives you an unlimited transaction allowance by implication. Tell us how many accounts are active and how much is passing through them so the scope starts with the real workload.

Keeping QuickBooks entries tied to the documents behind them.

QuickBooks Online gives the work a shared structure. It does not decide what an unfamiliar payment was for. Our QuickBooks bookkeeping uses receipt capture and bank verification to support category review, then carries the reviewed activity through to financial statements and monthly close.

The first supplied monthly range is 150–399 USD / month. A separate supplied range is 300–1100 USD / month for a larger or more involved QuickBooks scope. They overlap. They are not fixed tiers with invented transaction limits, and this page does not assign you a package based only on the size of your business.

Account count matters because each account adds records to verify. Reporting frequency matters because work may be needed before the usual month-end review. Payroll presence and the structure of the business can change the work even when the transaction count looks modest. The final quote considers those factors together.

If you already use the software, say how the books are currently maintained and where work has stopped. If you do not, say so. The QuickBooks bookkeeping page describes the two price bases and the workflow; subscription inclusion is a question to settle in the scope, not something to infer from the service name.

Estimating the review load behind your monthly transaction count.

Account checks take work even in a quiet month. This bookkeeping workload estimator adds an explicit account allowance to your transaction count. It returns transaction-equivalents for discussion, not hours, a fee or a promise about delivery.

Your monthly activity

Use a working estimate from 0 to 2000, in increments of 50. Count the activity across the accounts you want covered.

Include each bank or card account in the proposed scope. This tool accepts 1 to 12 accounts.

A routing aid only. Payroll, business complexity, business structure and reporting frequency can change the quote.

The formula is deliberately visible. The allowance of 25 is a calculator assumption, not a measured processing rate or a service limit.

A workload result is not a transaction allowance.

The thresholds above belong to this estimator. They are not published package limits and do not turn the supplied price ranges into an automatic quote. A low count with complicated ownership or frequent reporting can need more review than a higher count of straightforward activity.

Keep the inputs with your inquiry so we can discuss what they include. If you have more accounts or transactions than the tool accepts, do not reduce the count to make it fit. Describe the actual activity. The full workload calculator is available as a separate page when you want to work through the assumptions.

Qulck Boaks is the public identity at qulck-boaks.click. The operator identifies its bookkeeping work as QulckBooks 2025. Our contact address is 100 South Ashley Drive, Tampa, Florida 33602, United States. You can read the operator information before sharing details about your books.

The useful question for your own business is what will be checked. Bring the account list and a description of the period you need help with. We can then discuss the source documents, the gaps and the reporting you expect without pretending that another business's scope is yours.

Agreeing the work before records move into the monthly routine.

First, the inquiry establishes the business and the books as they stand. Tell us whether records are kept manually or in QuickBooks Online, which period needs attention and whether payroll is present. An estimate of activity is enough for the opening conversation. Do not send account passwords through the inquiry form.

Next, we discuss the missing information and the proposed scope. The price basis, covered accounts and reporting frequency belong in that agreement. So does the lead time. A busy bank feed does not tell us whether the source documents are ready, and we do not promise a start or finish date before that is understood.

After agreement, source documents can be organised through the secure client portal and document vault. Review follows the transactions, with questions returned to you where the business purpose or evidence is unclear. Financial statements and the monthly close are based on the agreed work, with outstanding matters made visible rather than guessed away.

You remain the person who knows what the business bought and why. A short answer to a document question can be more useful than another export. That is the exchange the working process is designed to support.

Before work
Scope and price basis agreed from the actual account activity.
During review
Missing evidence and unclear business purposes raised for an answer.
At close
Reports and remaining questions considered against the agreed period.
Timing
By agreement; document readiness affects the work that can proceed.

Comparing the monthly fee without mistaking software access for completed books.

A monthly figure is only comparable when it covers the same work. Ask about the transaction limit and the number of bank and card accounts. Ask whether QuickBooks is included, whether payroll work is included and whether tax preparation is part of the offer. On this site, payroll is a scope question; tax preparation is not an advertised service.

Already have QuickBooks? You can still need a bookkeeper. Categories and source documents need review even when a feed imports activity successfully. Starting from handwritten records is also a valid inquiry. Describe what you have rather than spending time making it look finished.

This service suits owners who want their financial record maintained and are willing to resolve questions about it. It is not a route to guaranteed tax savings, an audit opinion or an instant clean-up with no supporting records. Those are different promises, and we do not make them.

An inquiry does not buy a package.

There is no checkout or payment collection here. The ranges help you decide whether to talk. The service scope and final quote require agreement, and the presence of a payroll entry does not add payroll delivery to that agreement automatically.

Starting with the books you have and the work still outside them.

Tell us where the record stops being useful. Include a rough monthly transaction count and the bank or card accounts involved if you know them. Leave confidential documents out of this first message; the document route can be agreed after contact.

Provide a phone number or an email address so we can reply. Neither is required on its own.

An estimate is useful. Mention payroll presence and reporting frequency if they affect the work.

Inquiry only. No payment is requested. Lead time is by agreement. For a direct conversation, call +1 (872) 545-8322.
